The chassis includes a support frame 276 that extends into the airway 272 of the breathing apparatus (see Figure 21A, which shows the support frame 276 is separated from the mask configuration. It also includes a central portion of a curved sheet that forms a thin layer of lycopene 274. The support member 277 is clearly shown in the twenty-first B and twenty-first C. In the twenty-first B, the kelonic layer 274 in the region of the support member 277 is cut, except for the seal The edge 277a of the member 277 is referred to. Since the support member 277 is relatively rigid, it supports the user to speak there through the mask. In the twenty-first C-picture, the layer of the lycocan on the support member 277 is not cut, but Still quite hard enough to support speaking.

278。 The support member supports a thin layer 274 which may be relatively thin and flexible. The polycarbonate chassis can be made by 3D printing, and the air guiding tube 272 can also be manufactured in this manner, and the air guiding tube 272 can be integrated with the chassis 275 to form an "arm" extending rearward from the mask and connecting the generator device. Things." For comfort, the Silicone layer 274 can also include a Silicone pad 278 around the mouth and nose of the user.

When compared to the mask of the previous embodiment, the kelonic layer 274 may be relatively thin and may include one or more relatively hard layers that will propagate sound when the user speaks. Botanical has the advantage of being lighter in weight.

Referring to Figures 22 through 24, a synthetic mask breathing apparatus 280 is illustrated which includes a mask 281 and a mask decorative cover 282. In an alternate embodiment, components 298, 299 may not be exhaust valves, may only be plugs, sealing exhaust ports 294, 295.

The outer cover 282 also includes an elongated slot 300 in the outer cover that can be used for decorative purposes and that allows the air to escape when the mask 281 is made of a gas permeable material.

The inner layer mask 281 is shaped to cover the user's mouth and nasal passages. The air guiding tubes 286, 287 carry the filtered pressurized air to the mask (air guiding tube 286) and return from the mask (air guiding tube 287) to the generator device 283, where the exhaled air can be discharged via an exhaust filter. If the pressure within the mask increases, more of the exhaust air can be expelled via the exhaust valves 298, 299 and/or the mask material.

The cover 282 can help to enhance the aesthetics of the breathing apparatus. The cover may include a pattern, color, and the like for aesthetic purposes. A plurality of such covers can be prepared so that the user can replace them to change the aesthetics of the breathing apparatus 280. The cover can also provide protection for the user's face from environmental pollution. can. Various embodiments may cover only one of the nose or mouth. Additionally, a cover such as cover 282 can be used in conjunction with other embodiments of the mask device described herein. The shape of the outer cover can be varied to function in conjunction with each embodiment.

The generator device of the embodiments of the twenty-second to twenty-fourth embodiments is not limited to a neck assembly such as that shown in the drawings, but can be set by other types of generator devices placed anywhere in the body. .

25 and 26 illustrate an alternative embodiment of a connector structure 310 for connecting an airway of a generator device to an airway of a mask configuration, in accordance with any of the embodiments described herein. .

The connector arrangement 310 includes a male connector member 311 that is mounted to the mask configuration airway tube 312. The male member 311 has a pair of fingers 313, 314 that extend toward the generator device air duct 315 in use. The fingers 313, 314 are configured to be inserted into a corresponding female member 316 that is mounted to the generator device airway 315. The fingers 313, 314 include distally projecting front end heads 317, 318 that are configured to engage the elongated slots 319, 320 in the female member 316. The fingers 313, 314 are resilient so that they are tightly coupled to the female member slots 319, 320. The connector configuration can be released (unwound) by pressing the protruding portions of the front end portions 317, 318 in the elongated slots 319, 320 and pulling the male member 311 from the female member 315.

In the foregoing embodiments, there are some breathing apparatus including a generator device including a housing configured to be mounted to a neck of a user. The outer casing may include an air flow generator, a filter material, and Other components. In some environments, especially in hot environments, wearing such a neck device may cause discomfort. In one embodiment, a cooling device is provided to promote the comfort of such a neck mounting device. A thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh embodiment illustrate a cooling device embodiment.

The cooling device, generally designated by the reference numeral 350, includes a cooling insert 351. Cooling insert 351 includes a material that is configured to remain cool. The insert 351 is placed in the refrigerator for a period of time until it is sufficiently cooled. The cooling device 350 also includes a housing 352 configured to receive the cooling insert 351 within the housing 352 via the opening 353. a back cover (not shown) of the outer cover 352 has a one-dimensional nylon thorn fastener attachment configured to be coupled to a corresponding velcro nylon fastener pad on a neck device of a breathing apparatus consistent with an embodiment of the present invention. Please refer to the thirty-seventh figure.

In operation, the cooling device 350 keeps the user's neck cool and promotes comfort.

The breathing apparatus of an embodiment of the invention includes an elastomeric air tube for transporting filtered pressurized air to the mask and for delivering air from the mask (in certain embodiments). Because the airway is resilient (see Figures 3 and 5, for example, where the air duct is an elastic bellows), it is possible for them to kink and close during operation. In order to prevent this, the applicant of the present invention developed an insert, please refer to the thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh drawings. The plastic insert 360 includes a base 361 and a pair of fingers 362, 363 extending perpendicularly from the base. In operation, the base of the insert is positioned within an airway tube 370 to maintain the airway opening even if the knot is kinked. This is because the insert 360, by virtue of the fingers 362, 363, cannot be laid flat, maintaining the airway in an open condition.

Referring to Figures 27 and 28, an additional media adapter 500 is illustrated that is configured to be coupled to a generator device 501 for receiving additional filter elements, such as filter element 502. The generator device 501 can be used with a generator for use with other embodiments of the present invention The same or similar, such as the generator device 162 in the fifteenth to twenty-secondth drawings. It may contain the same components and be used in conjunction with the airway and mask configurations consistent with any of the above or any of the following embodiments.

In some cases, additional filtering may be required, which may require the addition of larger, bulkier filters to the unit. For example, gas filters may be required for extremely harsh environments where irritating or toxic gases may be present. The filter element 502 can comprise a suitable filter material and can be added to the generator device 501 by using a filter media adapter 500. The filter element is placed in the slot of the adapter 500 in the direction of arrow 503.

In addition to the filter material already installed in the generator device 501, an additional filter element 502 can be used, or instead.

The enhanced filter media function allows devices consistent with embodiments of the present invention to be used in extremely harsh environments, such as hazardous gas environments, even in military applications.

502a。 Figures 47 through 52 show a more detailed view of the generator device 501 with a slightly modified filter media adapter 500a and additional filter media elements 502a.

In the configuration as shown in the fifty-ninth embodiment, the filter element 516 includes a getter filter material 517 (which may comprise a plurality of series filter media, or may be a single type of filter media) and an exhalation filter material 518.

The surface area of the filter element 516 is similar at the outer side 516A and the inner side 516B, at least when the filter material area is presented at 516A and 516B. The filter inlet and outlet have similar or equal areas resulting in a more efficient use of the filter material.

The getter filter 517 is located at the inlet of the generator device 501 (operation is the same as that of the getter filter 185 shown in Figure 14A and described above). Exhalation filter material 518 is placed to receive the output airflow and to filter the exhaled air (identical to filter media 187 as shown in Figure 14A and described above). In an embodiment, the expiratory filter material 518 can also include a plurality of serial filter media.

Filter media 517 and 518 are mounted to liner 519, and filter cartridge 516 is configured to be placed in a receptacle 520 in the generator device housing 510. The access 515 can then be closed, as shown in the 47th.

In certain embodiments, the filter element 516 may not have an expiratory filter material 518. In certain embodiments, the airflow does not return to the generator device 501 (see below) after being exhaled, and may be exhaled via a valve elsewhere or via a venting block (eg, a filter material mask).

The access port 515 is hinged to the outer casing 510 via a hub 521. The hub 521 includes a pivot pin 522 that is mounted in a pair of cylindrical passages 523, 524 in the outer casing 510 and also extends through a cylindrical passage 525 at one end of the inlet and outlet 515. On the other side of the access opening 615, a release latch 526 from the hub 521 can be actuated to the released position (shown in Fig. 48) so that the access opening 515 can be opened. The peg 526 and the access opening 515 are shown in the forty-seventh view in the closed position.

The release pin 526 can be formed by a pair of lugs 528, 529 on the outer casing 510. The ball 517 slides, and the cylindrical holes 531, 532 of the lugs 528, 529 accommodate the plug 526. The access opening 515 has a lug 530 at its end corresponding to the position of the peg 526. When the access opening is closed, the cylindrical passage 531 is located between the lugs 529 and 528 and is configured to receive the peg 526 therein. The fastening port 515 is closed.

To retain the peg 526, the peg is secured to a spring 535 that is configured to move in parallel with the movement of the retaining peg 526 in the slot 536 of a housing 510. The spring 535 is bent at 538 to snap into the slot and when the tether is in the position shown in the forty-seventh figure, moves within the slot in a tight fit to keep the pin closed.

The access port 515 can be completely removed from the outer casing 510 to accommodate a filter media adapter (500 in the twenty-eighth figure and 500a in the forty-ninth and fifty-fifth views). The bolt 522 of the hub 521 is removed by unscrewing using an L-shaped Allen key (not shown). On the other side of the access opening 515, the locking bolt 526 is open so that the access opening can be completely removed.

Further embodiments of a breathing apparatus consistent with the present invention will now be described with reference to the twenty-ninth through thirty-third figures.

With the "neck mounting" generator device embodiment, as described in the second to fifth and the fortieth to forty-eighth, for example, the generator device 162 is mounted against the neck back. In some cases, this may make it difficult for the user to move his or her head freely, and may cause some discomfort if worn for a long time.

The embodiment shown in the twenty-ninth figure has a third to fifth figure or The same components of the embodiment in the thirty-ninth to fourty-sixth embodiments, and therefore will not be further described. However, in comparison with the other embodiments, the breathing apparatus 900 of the twenty-ninth embodiment is elongated, such that the generator device 162a is spaced from the back of the neck. Referring in particular to the thirty-first figure, a neck pad 901 is disposed on the back of the neck for use, and an adjustment bracket is mounted on the air guiding tubes 902 and 903 (the symbol of the adjusting bracket is 905) . The adjustment bracket 905 supports the neck pad 901 using a button 906 that fits into a hole 907 in the adjustment bracket 905. Please note that there are adjustment brackets 905 on both air ducts 902 and 903. This means that the fixation of the neck pad 901 is illustrated in the thirty-second diagram.

An alternative to the fixed user is an integral air clip 910 that is secured to the airways 902, 903, and the neck pad 901 has a strap 911 that is mounted through a buckle 912 on an air clip.

In this embodiment, the generator device 162a is spaced from the back of the neck. A pivot point 915 is created that allows the user to tilt the head. The generator device 162a is free to move without interfering with neck activity.

920。 A fifty-third to fifty-fifth diagram is a further embodiment of an adjustment position generator device. The generator device shown is designated by the symbol 162b and is configured to be supported by the user's shoulder in use (see Figures 55A and 55B). The generator device 162b can support a gas filter cartridge 920.

The central portion of the generator device 162b conforms to a contour of the body (921) to conform to the contours of the neck and shoulders. The larger weight is more comfortable to support by the shoulder than by the neck, so that the long-term wearing the breathing apparatus can also feel comfortable and can tilt the head comfortably.

As described above, the respiratory device embodiment of the present invention can implement a respiratory response control In this way, the air pressure may vary with the breathing rate. Motor power (fan motor) may also change during the breathing cycle. There is an inspiratory interval during any breathing cycle, an interruption when not breathing, and an expiratory interval.

Embodiments of the respiratory response of the present invention may take into account respiratory rate and vary motor control during a breathing cycle.

Referring to Figures 58 to 61, an embodiment of the present invention implements a reaction flow control rule system consisting of an exhalation positive pressure (EPAP) and an inspiratory positive pressure (IPAP) control function. Implement a breathing response program in the EPAP control function (see Figure 59) to detect the inspiratory time at the EPAP status end and calculate the increased pressure based on the respiratory effort result and the user gain setting. Used in the IPAP state after being connected to the EPAP state. The cycle of EPAP and IPAP repeats breathing and breathing.

The fifty-eighth and fifty-ninth diagrams are flow charts showing the control rule system. The sixtieth graph shows a graph of the mass pressure and the motor power. The sixty-first A and sixty-first B diagrams show the mask pressure waveform during the breathing cycle.

The respiratory response control program is based on the breathing force and user gain settings (users can manually set the desired air pressure). The higher the product value, the higher the response. Respiratory force is calculated by measuring the difference in pressure over a specified period of time after the mask pressure drops below the EPAP set pressure point. The gain setting is user selectable, and the higher the setting, the higher the sensitivity of the bellows output to breathing force. The fifty-eighth and fifty-ninth figures illustrate the steps of respiratory response control.

For a particular gain setting, the higher the pressure drop at the beginning of inspiration, the higher the breathing force.

For a specific gain setting, if the breathing needs to be large enough, the bellows is easy to reach To its maximum capacity. To save on breathing effort, the higher the gain setting, the same breathing effort can result in a higher flow response.

The higher the gain setting, the less the pressure drop at the beginning of inhalation, so the minimum mass pressure is higher, and it is more suitable for people with higher labor or larger lung capacity, but smaller lung capacity may feel uncomfortable.

The higher the gain setting, the higher the average IPAP pressure and the higher the battery cost. For people with low labor or small lung capacity, the lower gain setting may be more comfortable, while the bellows may be quieter and the battery will last longer.

For the embodiments of the invention, the mass pressure ranges from 0.1 cm water depth to 3.5 cm water depth. The target EPAP pressure can begin at a depth of 0.5 cm. The target inspiratory pressure is variable, depending on the breathing force and user comfort settings, and is above 1 cm water depth and up to 3.5 cm water depth.

As mentioned above, the control of the breathing apparatus can include software control. Software control can include predicting software and predicting when the filter is clogged. As the filter material resistance becomes higher, the bellows may have to work harder.

Windbox flow capacity check. A built-in flow meter provides a means for the user to check the flow capacity of the breathing apparatus before each use.

The height of the filter plugging detection can be increased or decreased by 3000 meters.

Automatic pressure sensor zero offset calibration.

Manual pressure sensor zero offset calibration.

Low battery alarm sound.

Respiratory response settings.

Built-in battery charger and instructions.

Filter blockage detection during breathing and mask closure.

Air temperature control (heating and cooling).

Air humidity control.

User access to information such as usage time, breathing rate, filter usage, ownership, etc. via Bluetooth.
