This invention relates to a manufacturing method of aromatic wood plastic composite, comprising the following steps: (A) drying treatment: pre-drying a plurality of waste plants to average moisture content of 0.1% to 3% by weight for crushing and stirring and uniformly mixing to form a plurality of wood powders in small particle size; (B) mixing wood powders, plastic materials and fragrances: mixing wood powders in 10% to 70% by weight, plastic materials in 30% to 90% by weight, and fragrances in less than 5% by weight and sufficiently stirring and uniformly mixing to from a wood plastic mixture; and (C) forming wood plastic composite: shaping the wood plastic mixture into a wood plastic composite. In this way, the wood plastic composite is made to have aromatic effect and can be used as building materials.
