Abstract

Disclosed is a white turbid liquid cosmetic which has excellent long-term stability, can contain a (semi)solid oily component stably to exhibit a moist feeling upon application to the skin, and can be produced conveniently. Specifically disclosed is a liquid cosmetic comprising (1) 0.01 to 5% by mass of a POE-POP copolymer dialkyl ether, (2) 0.01 to 1.0% by mass of a hydrophilic surfactant selected from POE(30) phytosterol, POE octyl dodecyl ether, POE-POP decyl tetradecyl ether and POE hydrogenated castor oil, (3) 0.001 to 0.5% by mass of a lipophilic surfactant selected from sorbitan sesquioleate, sorbitan sesquiisostearate, sorbitan sesquistearate, sorbitan trioleate, polyoxyethylene (C12-15)alkyl ether phosphate (2E.O.) and polyglyceryl-2 diisostearate, and (4) 0.01 to 2% by mass of an oily component, wherein isostearic acid makes up 20% by mass or more of the oily component.
