Abstract
A three-dimensional tube building structure simultaneously achieving excellent structural stability and quake resistance and having a greater degree of design freedom than conventional building structures using tube frames. A three-dimensional tube frame is formed by a main frame constructed by layering single-layer structures having a honeycomb structure with first rigid joints. Two, left and right sides of a hexagonal structure unit are placed at an angle relative to a plane including the upper and lower sides of the unit. Two adjacent layers of hexagonal structure units are faced each other, and the two layers are connected by inter-layer connection beams. In a plan view, a second hexagonal structure unit is formed by beams, which are the upper and lower sides in either of the two adjacent layers, or ends of a slab, by oblique columns that are two, left and right sides, and by the inter-layer connection beams. The second hexagonal structure unit forms a honey comb structure with second rigid joints.
