Abstract
An object is moved according to the acceleration data detected by an acceleration sensor when a controller is moved. When the moved object touches another object, the controller can be vibrated by a vibration mechanism. According to a game program, the velocity magnitude data V on the controller (25) and the velocity magnitude data VBT on the object are computed from the acceleration data G and the time interval data dt recognized by a control section (1). The control section (1) judges whether or not the coordinate data on the coordinates of a moving bat character (73) in a display area agrees with the coordinate data on the coordinates of a ball character (74) in the display area. The control section (1) computes vibration control data S used to control the vibration of the controller (25) according to the bat velocity. Then, the control section (1) issues a command to output the vibration control data S to the controller (25).
