Abstract
A coloring composition including metallic particles having a silver-tin alloy part. An optical density after forming a coated film thereof is 3.5 or more for a 1 μm thickness coated film after drying. The coloring composition, includes, preferably the metallic particles having a silver-tin alloy part at a ratio of 0.05 to 0.7 times the solid content of the particles, and, in a light shielding layer formed by coating the coloring composition, a relationship in the XYZ trichromatic color system of coordinates (x, y) for light transmitted from C light source with chromatic coodinates (x0, y0) for the light source meets the following equation: (x-x0) <SP>2</SP>+ (y-y0)<SP>2</SP> ≤ 0.01.
