Abstract
Provided is a refrigerant compressor capable of resolving a disadvantage of oil flowing into a refrigerant cycle other than a refrigerant compressor while the oil being enclosed into the refrigerant cycle, as well as suppressing the enclosing quantity of the oil as much as possible, also ensuring a sufficient oil quantity. Also provided is a refrigerant cycling apparatus having said refrigerant compressor. A rotary compressor (refrigerant compressor) 10 according to the present invention includes inside a hermetically sealed vessel 12 a motor element 14 used as driving element, and a rotating compression mechanism 18 composed of first and second rotating compression elements 32, 34 driven by the motor element 14. Refrigerant compressed by the rotating compression mechanism 18 is discharged to the outside of the hermetically sealed vessel 12. Moreover, the rotary compressor 10 further includes an oil reservoir 80 provided at a bottom portion inside the hermetically sealed vessel 12, and a service piping 100 mounted on the hermetically sealed vessel 12 for enclosing the refrigerant and the oil into said hermetically sealed vessel 12.
