Abstract

To provide a carrier capable of gripping and transferring polarizing films to each operation position, with their flatness being maintained at the inspection of the polarizing films to be applied to LCDs. The polarizing film carrier (100) is constituted of a reference grip part (110), fixed and installed to one side of a base frame (1); a first grip part (120) movably installed to the other side of the base frame; a second grip part (130) movably installed to the rear side of the base frame; and a third grip part (140) movably installed to the front side of the base frame. The reference grip part grips one side end of a polarizing film. The first grip part moves forward and backward in directions, in which the reference grip part is positioned to grip the other side end of the polarizing film, and the second grip part and the third grip part each move forward and backward in directions facing each other to grip the front and rear side ends of the polarizing film.
