Abstract
To prevent clogging of a gas distribution plate of a fluidized bed dryer with a wet raw material put through a charging shoot. In this fluidized dryer 3 adapted to charge the wet raw material through the charging shoot 8, browing high-temperature gas as a heat source-and-fluidizing gas from the lower side of the gas distribution plate 5 and forming a fluidized layer 9 on the gas distribution plate 5 to dry the wet raw material, a gas blow-in nozzle 13 is provided between a lower portion of the charging shoot 8 and the fluidized layer 9, and the gas is blown through the gas blow-in nozzle 13 to disperse the flow velocity of the wet raw material falling from the shoot 8. Otherwise, the flow velocity of the hot source-and-fluidizing gas to be blown from the lower side of the gas distribution plate 5 just under the shoot 8 is set higher than the flow velocity of the heat source-and-fluidizing gas to be blown from the lower side of the gas distribution plate 5 except just under the shoot 8.
