Abstract

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved self-light emitting panel by providing auxiliary wiring electrodes to reduce the wiring resistance of upper electrodes, thereby ensuring an acceptable sealing performance. The self-light emitting panel 1 is formed by arranging self-light emitting devices 2 on a substrate 10. The self-light emitting devices 2 comprise lower electrodes 11 formed on the substrate 10 directly or through other layers, a luminescent functional layer 12 formed on the lower electrodes, and upper electrodes 13 formed on the luminescent functional layer. The self-light emitting panel further comprises a sealing member 20 arranged over the self-light emitting devices 2, an adhesive layer 21 for bonding the sealing member 20 over the self-light emitting devices 2, and auxiliary wiring electrodes 22 connected to the upper electrodes 13. The auxiliary wiring electrodes 22 formed on the adhesive layer 21's surface facing the self-light emitting devices 2 are connected to the upper electrodes 13 by tightly attaching the adhesive layer 21 to the upper electrodes 13.
