Abstract

To provide a composite function film which enables a plasma display panel to be made lightweight and low-profile, has excellent handleability, can be directly stuck to the plasma display panel, has optical characteristics such as reflection prevention and a shielding property of near infrared rays and electromagnetic waves, and can provide excellent light transmissivity and visibility. The composite function film for the plasma display panel which has a reflection prevention layer and a near infrared absorption layer satisfying the following conditions is provided. A condition (1) that the reflection prevention layer consists of laminated layers having the following layers (i) and (ii). Namely the laminated layer consists of a high refractive index layer (i) containing conductive metal oxide grains, a compound containing alkoxy silyl group and at least one of the hydrolyzed substance of the compound and the hydrolyzed condensate of the compound and a low refractive index layer (ii) containing an olefin group polymer containing fluorine having a polysiloxane segment. A condition (2) that the near infrared absorption layer contains norbornene resin.
