Abstract

To provide a male DIP connector and the like which are small in size and can cope with a high voltage. This male connector 1 is constituted such that two pin contacts 4 juxtaposed and housed in parallel inside a box type base housing 3 having a front part being an opening 5 comprise a contact pin 15 which extends from a rear side wall 6 of the base housing 3 to the opening 5, and leads 17, 19 which extend downwards from the rear side wall 6 to penetrate through a printed-circuit board 53 from one face 53a of one side are soldered on a face 53b of other side. The male connector is inserted into the opening 5 to engage with a female connector2. A lower partition wall 50 which is arranged between both leads 17, 19, projects downward, and penetrates through the printed-circuit board 53 is provided at the lower part of the base housing 3.
