Abstract

The present invention provides a digital filter. An adder (13) is applied to perform addition or subtraction on the input data and the previous data before a delay is set according to the input data and a displacement calculator is applied to adjust the amplitude of the calculation result before a moving average calculation is output. In accordance with an m-multiplication frequency clock (m*ck) , time division multiplex is applied repeatedly for m times on multiplexing process parts (l-1, l-2,... l-n) for n-section vertical connections. Also, a simple moving average calculation is carried out repeatedly on the input data. By means of such structure, a finite impulse response (FIR) filter is formed. Thus, it is able to eliminate a multiplier conventionally required to perform any multiplication calculation for calculating the filter coefficient of each connector output of a delay line with connectors. At the same time, by applying time-division multiplex to perform moving average calculation for multiple times, it also can significantly reduce the number of times that the adder needs to be applied.
