Abstract
Mevcut buluş, bir proses gazında SO2'nin SO3'e oksitlenmesi için bir proses tesisine ilişkin olup, bahsi edilen proses tesisi, bahsi edilen proses gazı ve bahsi edilen oksitlenmiş proses gazı ve/veya bahsi edilen daha da oksitlenmiş proses gazı arasında termal bir temas sağlayarak, oksitlenmiş proses gazı ve/veya daha da oksitlenmiş proses gazı ile ısı alışverişi yoluyla, proses gazının ısıtılması için konfigüre edilen bir ısı eşanjörünü, SO2'nin SO3'e oksitlenmesinde katalitik olarak aktif olan malzemenin birinci bölgesini, bir ısı eşanjöründe bahsi edilen oksitlenmiş proses gazının soğturulmasından sonra oksitlenmiş proses gazı ve/veya daha da oksitlenmiş proses gazı ile ısıtılan buharı içerecek şekilde konfigüre edilen bir kazanı içerir, ve önceki tekniğe göre proses tesisine kıyasla yalnız orta seviyede aşınmaya karşı dirençli olan malzemeler ile yapılabilecek olan daha küçük bir ısı eşanjörü olasılığından faydalanarak, yoğunlaşmayan, kazanda soğutulmuş, oksitlenmiş proses gazı ile karakterize edilir.
