Birinci tabaka ikinci tabakaya araliklarla kesikli bosluklu yerlerden baglanir ve iplik kesisimlerinin ortalarindaki iplik kisimlari birinci tabakaya bagli degildir. Temizleme maddesi önceden islatilmis olabilir ve ikinci tabakanin en az bir ipligi boyunca uzanan bazi sirtlarin bulundugu uzatilmis sirtlar ile makroskopik olarak üç boyutlu bir yüzeye sahiptir.
