This first conductive contact has a portion extending across the width of the first surface of the capacitor. The first surface of the capacitor is parallel to the first surface of the chassis. Importantly, the conductive path connects the first portion of the capacitor's first conductive contact to the first conductive contact adjacent to the first surface of the chassis. The device includes a chassis with one surface and a conductive contact exposed on that first surface. The capacitor is housed within that chassis. The capacitor has a first conductive contact exposed on the first surface of the capacitor. This first conductive contact has a portion extending across the width of the first surface of the capacitor. The first surface of the capacitor is parallel to the first surface of the chassis. Claims (30)

1. Components: The casing with its first surface and the first external conductive contact exposed on that first surface; the capacitor inside the casing; the capacitor with the first conductive contact exposed on that first surface; the first portion of the first conductive contact extending across the width of that first surface; the first surface of the capacitor that is significantly parallel to the first surface of the casing; and the first conductive path connecting the first portion of the capacitor's first conductive contact to the first external conductive contact. 2. The device of claim 1 consists of a first conductive path connected in parallel to the first part of the capacitor's conductive contacts, and to the first part of the external conductive contacts. 3. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the capacitor's first conductive contact to that first external conductive contact which is exposed on the second surface of the body parallel to the first surface of the body. 4. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of a second conductive path connected in parallel, with the first part of the capacitor's conductive contact connected to the first external conductive contact, which is significantly exposed at the second surface of the body parallel to the first surface of the body. 5. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first part of the second conductive contact extended on the second surface of the capacitor to the second external conductive contact exposed on the first surface of the body; the second surface of the capacitor is significantly parallel to the first surface of the body. 6. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of several secondary conductive paths connected in parallel, the first part of the secondary conductive contact extending onto the secondary surface of the capacitor connected to the second external conductive contact exposed on the primary surface of the body, and the second surface of the capacitor significantly parallel to the primary surface of the body. 7. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first part of the second conductive contact extended on the second surface of the capacitor to a second external conductive contact exposed on the second surface of the body parallel to the first surface of the body, and significantly, the second surface of the capacitor opposite to the first surface of the capacitor. 8. An apparatus of claim 1 consisting of a second conductive path connected in parallel, the first part of the second conductive contact extending onto the second surface of the capacitor, connected to a second external conductive contact exposed on the second surface of the body, significantly parallel to the first surface of the body, and the second surface of the capacitor opposite to the first surface of the capacitor. 9. The apparatus of claim 1 is provided by a capacitor consisting of third and fourth surfaces significantly perpendicular to the first and second surfaces of the capacitor, and each contact of the capacitor having a second part that covers at least part of the third surface of the capacitor and a third part that covers at least part of the fourth surface of the capacitor. 10. Device of claim clause 9 where the second and third parts of each capacitor contact have a surface area less than the surface area of the first part of that contact. 11. The device of claim 1, whereby the capacitor has an industry standard form factor. 12. The device of claim 1, whereby the capacitor consists of a multilayer ceramic chip capacitor. 13. Components: The housing with its first surface; the printed contacts with the first conductive part near the first surface of the housing; the designated capacitor located within the housing; the capacitor with its first conductive contact exposed at the first surface of the capacitor; the first part of the first conductive contact extending across the width of the first surface of the capacitor; the first surface of the capacitor significantly parallel to the first surface of the housing; and the first conductive path connecting the first part of the capacitor's first conductive contact to the printed conductive first contact. 14. The device of claim 13, which consists of a first conductive path connected in parallel to the first part of the capacitor's conductive contacts, and the first part of the printed conductive contacts. 15. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the first conductive contact of the capacitor to the power source. 16. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connected in parallel, with the first part of the conductive contacts of the capacitor connected to the power source. 17. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the capacitor's first conductive contact to that first external conductive contact which is exposed on the second surface of the body parallel to the first surface of the body. 18. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the second conductive contact extended across the width of the second surface of the capacitor to the second printed conductive contact exposed on the first surface of the body, and a second surface of the capacitor significantly parallel to the first surface of the body. 19. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connected in parallel, the first part of the second conductive contact extending across the width of the second surface of the capacitor, connected to the second conductive contact of the printed form which is exposed on the first surface of the body, and the second surface of the capacitor which is significantly parallel to the first surface of the body. 20. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first part of the second conductive contact, which extends across the width of the second surface of the capacitor, to a power source; the second surface of the capacitor is significantly parallel to the first surface of the body. 21. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connected in parallel, the first part of the second conductive contact extending across the width of the second surface of the capacitor to the power source, and the second surface of the capacitor parallel to the first surface of the body, is of significant importance. 22. An apparatus of claim 13 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the second conductive contact, which extends across the width of the second surface of the capacitor, to a second external conductive contact exposed on the second surface of the body, which is significantly parallel to the first surface of the body. 23. An apparatus of claim 13 is a capacitor consisting of third and fourth surfaces significantly perpendicular to the first and second surfaces of the capacitor, and each capacitor contact has a second part that covers at least part of the third surface of the capacitor, and a third part that covers at least part of the fourth surface of the capacitor. 24. Device of claim 23 where the second and third parts of each capacitor contact have a surface area less than the surface area of the first part of that contact. 25. The device of claim 13, in which the first and second conductive contacts of the capacitor are connected to different voltages. 26. The device of claim 13 consists of a conductive contact on the first surface of the capacitor and a conductive contact on the second surface of the capacitor, where some contacts are connected to a first voltage and some contacts are connected to a second voltage. 27. Components: The chassis, with its first surface; the printed form with exposed conductive contacts on the first surface of the chassis; capacitors arranged adjacently within the chassis; each capacitor with a first conductive contact exposed on the first surface of the capacitor and a second conductive contact exposed on the opposite second surface of the capacitor; each conductive contact on each capacitor with a first section extending across the width of the first or second surface of the capacitor; the first and second surfaces of each capacitor that are significantly parallel to the first surface of the chassis; and the first conductive path connecting the first section of the first conductive contact of each capacitor to at least one of the conductive contacts on the printed form. 28. The device of claim 27, which includes a second conductive path connecting the first portion of the first conductive contact of each capacitor to the power source. 29. An apparatus of claim 27 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first part of the second conductive contact of each capacitor to at least one of the conductive contacts of that type. 30. An apparatus of claim 27 consisting of a second conductive path connecting the first part of the second conductive contact of each capacitor to the power source.
