1. สารประกอบแซนโทนที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะที่แสดงฤทธิ์ต้านเชื้อวัณโรค ได้แก่ สูตรโครงสร้าง (I) ดังนี้ (สูตรเคมี) I ในที่ซึ่ง R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 เป็นไฮโดรเจน หมู่อัลคิล หมู่อัลคีนิล หมู่ไฮดรอกซิล หมู่อัลคอกซิล หรือหมู่เอซิลอกซี โดยจำนวนคาร์บอนในหมู่อัลคิล หมู่อัลคีนิล หมู่อัลคอกซิล หรือหมู่ เอซิลอกซี มีตั้งแต่ 1 ถึง 10 อะตอม หมู่ R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 , R5 , R6 , R7, R8 อาจเหมือนกันหรือต่างกันก็ได้ ดังนี้ a.
