Description
(54) CALCIUM SULPHATE CRYSTALLIZATION MODIFIER
This invention relates to a process for the production of phosphoric acid used for the production of fertilizers and calcium sulphate. A known modifier for the crystallization of calcium sulfate digivedite in the production of extraction phosphoric acid is a mixture containing. the product of the interaction of 6-20 moles of ethylene oxide with 1 mole of tall oil rosin, to which fatty acids can also be added1 1 The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a calcium sulfate crystallization modifier - an organic alkali metal sulfonate L. The disadvantage of modifiers is the low relative rate of filtration of the resulting calcium sulphate precipitate, equal to 1.1-1.3 due to the small size of the crystal. The purpose of the invention is to increase the filtration rate and the size of calcium sulphate crystals. The goal has been achieved by imitating naphthenic acids and / or their alkali and alkaline earth metal salts as a modifier, the crystallization of calcium sulfate in the production of phosphoric acid. The use of naphthenic acids and / or their alkali metal and alkaline earth metal salts as a modifier of calcium sulfate crystallization makes it possible to increase the relative filtration rate in the production of phosphoric acid to 1.4–1.8 with an increase in the size of crystals by 1.5–2 times. Previously, naphthenic acids and their salts were used as resin solvents, aniline dyes, rubber and other substances, as well as antiseptics, they are components of various varnishes, demulsifiers in the destruction of oil and oil emulsions, and antiknock motor fuels. Sodium naphthanate is one of the most important types of fatty acids for soap production, it is used in agriculture as a stimulator of plant growth and productivity of livestock and poultry. When extracting phosphoric acid is obtained from the Kola apatite concentrate in various modes (dihydrate, semi-double, anhydrate and semi-hydrate-dihydrate), the modifier is introduced directly into the pulp during decomposition in the form of solutions in water (toner), sulfuric acid or phosphoric
