Description
The invention relates to methods for measuring the depths of ice-covered reservoirs using sonar devices and can be used in hydrographic measurements of the depths of reservoirs through ice and to search for fish during under-ice fishing. A known method for measuring the depths of ice-covered reservoirs, in which acoustic contact between the surface of the sonar device and the ice surface is created by cleaning the snow cover or puncturing the latter with a special design emitter 1. The method of measuring ice depth in ice-covered reservoirs is also known. acoustic contact between the receiving-radiating surface of the sonar device and ice, followed by radiation and reception of the ultrasonic signal t21 from the bottom of the reservoir through ice. The disadvantages of the known methods are the considerable time and laboriousness associated with the need to clear the snow cover, level the ice surface and wet it with an immersion liquid or use special transducers. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the measurement time. The goal is achieved by the fact that, according to the method of measuring the depths of ice-covered reservoirs, by means of an acoustic contact between the receiving-radiating surface of the sonar device and ice, followed by radiation and receiving an ultrasonic signal reflected from the bottom of the reservoir through ice, on the ice surface, to stabilize the amplitude of the reflected signal.
When the snow is compacted between the glowing surface of the echo sounder vibrator and ice, a layer with smooth acoustic properties is formed. In this case, in the compacted snow layer, the acoustic impedance approaches in its value to the acoustic impedance of ice, which ensures the transmission of the ultrasonic signal between the vibrator and ice with minimal losses.
The method is carried out as follows.
Определ ют достижение акустического контакта по стабилизации отраженного от дна сигнала .The echo sounder is installed in the body of the all-terrain vehicle. Vibrator install receiving-emitting surface on the snow. Vertical pressure is applied to the vibrator, for example, by loading it with calibrated weights, and thereby sealing the layer between the vibrator and the ice. At the same time, the electric echo sounder circuit is switched on. The achievement of acoustic contact is determined by the stabilization of the signal reflected from the bottom.
Creating an acoustic contact between the vibrator and ice by compacting the snow cover will significantly reduce the labor intensity of the measurements and reduce the time spent measuring | 1, and
It will also allow work to be carried out at a wide range of changes in negative temperatures.
