Description
(54) METHOD FOR OBTAINING A HEAVY SODA
8-10%.This invention relates to chemical technology and can be used in the production of soda ash by the ammonia method. A known method for producing heavy soda by recrystallization of anhydrous soda in solution. Hot calcined anhydrous soda, while stirring, is in contact with water in the crystallizer. Soda ash dissolves, and soda monohydrate crystals form and grow by the reaction + Na, jCOo, -H, f3. The resulting monohydrate is heat treated in soda ash kilns. This method has a high content of fraction c. particle size up to 0.1 mm in the finished product, which is about 10%, which is accompanied by subsidence and loss of the product due to acacia and impairs the sanitary and hygienic in the catch of the personnel of the personnel. Soda, obtained by this method, has insufficiently strong particles, which, during transportation and packaging, are abraded, which leads to an even greater increase in the content of the fine fraction in the final product. The strength of the particles of the finished is insignificant, since they withstand a crush load of no more than 10 kg / cm. Closest to the present invention is a method for producing heavy soda by contacting light soda with a soda solution and heat treatment. In this case, the weight ratio of soda solution to light soda is in the range of 2: 1, and heat treatment is carried out at I50-25bc t2. The disadvantage of this method is the high content of the fraction with a particle size of up to 0.1 mm, averaging 8-10%.
