Description

The subject of the invention is a crane for unloading rails from railway platforms and laying them in transit.

Cranes are known that are designed as being mounted above the platform on the T-masts of the crane path, but to which the lifting mechanism moves. Such cranes, however, are not suitable for unloading the rails to their sides.

In the proposed construction of the crane, this disadvantage is eliminated by the fact that the lifting mechanism is located on a rotary cantilever suspended from a trolley moving along a double track crane way. Through these two cranes, you can unload long rails loaded onto two platforms.

The crane is mounted on two four-axle platforms loosely interconnected and consists of two U-shaped portals / located at the outer ends of the paired platforms and two T-shaped masts 2 located at the inner ends of these platforms.

The tops of the gantries and masts are interconnected by beams (trusses) 3, forming a double-track crane path. Overhead trolleys 4, on which full-turning cantilevers (booms) 5, with lifting mechanisms 6, equipped with gripping tongs 7, are mounted along the crane way.
