Description
This invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the processing of lead-containing polymetallic sulphide concentrates. A known method of processing lead concentrates by electrowelting a mixture of a concentrate with a carbon-containing reducing agent and an alkali metal salt l3 was the most close to the technical essence of the invention. According to a known method, an individual alkali metal salt, carbonate or sulfide, is introduced into the mixture. At sufficiently high rates for the extraction of metals, this method also has a number of drawbacks: energy capacity, increased gas emission associated with a long process time. The aim of the invention is to reduce the energy consumption and the duration of the process. This goal is achieved by the fact that a cod mix is introduced into the mixture with the weight ratio of potash to soda 1: (6-17). The introduction of a mixture of carbonates into the initial mixture allows the melting point of 50-60 ° C due to the formation of more low-melting eutectics, to reduce the duration of melting due to increased activity of potash when interacting with the sulfides of the corresponding metals. As a soda mix, alumina production wastes can be used. The mixture for smelting of the proposed method usually contains 1-6% coke, 30-40% of the flux (co-mix) and concentrate - the rest. As a result of smelting, a rough lead, a stein slag melt and sublimates (recycled product) are obtained. Example. Lead concentrate composition, wt.%: Lead - 71,8; zinc 5, o; copper - 1.16; sulfur - 14.5; antimony - 0.32; cadmium - 0.04; mouse to 0, 14; bismuth - 0.003; selenium - 0.022; tellurium, 0.017; gold - 0.8; silver - 0.03; silica - 1,2; - melted in electric furnaces with a bottom area of 5.0 m. The specific melting of the charge is about 10 t / m.

The duration of smelting is reduced by 1/3 (compared to smelting, when only soda is injected into the mixture).
Thus, the application of the proposed method makes it possible to reduce the melting point and the duration of the process, i.e. reduce its energy intensity, improve sanitary conditions of work.
