Description

In order to obtain strong and resistant to atmospheric bodies of artificial linings on cellulosic fiber and cellulosic or nonstoot pressed material, it is known to use various products, starting from nitrocellulose and ending with various oxidizable oils and varnishes made of strong resins. Technically, most of them, with skillful work, respond to their purpose and can give quite satisfactory results. The proposed method uses substances that continue to exchange with air reagents, i.e. fixed gradually.

According to the proposed method, the plastic mass, which is superimposed on the outer side of the folder, plywood, board, leather or primed material and which consists of an alkaline solution of a mixture of technical viscose with condensation products of formaldehyde with phenols, is molded under a hot press with a molding board, aged in mineral oil or covered by them, and then, after aging, viscose in its first form, both under pressure and after a certain aging, is subjected to acid treatment, washing and applying a coupling agent stw. Color drawings are obtained by adding dyes to a viscose solution, and various imitations of their material are possible by applying separate color solutions both on the material itself and directly on the forming board. Thus, any pattern or finish, for example, an artificial measure, a marble or other stone conglomerate, etc., can be applied to the material.

Example. Solution A.

Purified cellulose-100 g

A solution of caustic alkali (soda) 18 Bome-180 g

Carbon disulfide-40

At the end of the reaction, after two days, water is gradually added in an amount of 200-8, and after aging it dissolves in the required amount of water, approximately 1400 g, with the addition of a small amount of glycerin for the finish.

,Solution B.,

Phenol raw-100 g

Formalin 40% -40g.

5 8.Sulfuric acid or sulfonic acid-5 8.

It is heated at reflux for 24 hours, washed with water and dissolved in alkali at 1 liter total.

These solutions are taken in about the following amounts: solution A - 100 parts, solution B-25 parts.

Colorful and fouter materials are added or erased to the final solution, a review by technical and coloristic need.

The subject of the patent.

A method of obtaining artificial measures and other drawings on plywood, a folder, etc., of a pressed material, characterized in that this material is coated with a mixture of alkaline solutions of viscose and condensation products of phenols with formaldehyde, mixed with dyes, and then subjected to hot pressing using a molding board , equipped with the appropriate pattern, wiring for acid and the usual finish.
