При нитровании альфа-сульфоантрахинона получаютс  почти в равных соотношени х 1,5- и 1,8-сульфонитроантрахиноны. Реакционную массу охлаждают до 70° и в нее внос т 11,2 г 1-амино-8-хлорантрахинона; смесь нагревают до 130° и выдерживают при этой температуре 2 ч.ас. По окончании конденсации реакционную массу охлаждают до 80°, выпавший краситель отфильтровывают , промывают на воронке спиртом и высушивают. Выход около 15 г.
