Description

The milk processing industry consumes a large amount of cotton filters for filtering milk.

The existing method of making these cotton filters is as follows. The bleached cotton obtained from the fabrication plant and the bleached cotton are fed to a scutching machine, from which the canvases of a certain number are sent to the carding machines and the cotton filling on the ice cream machine is folded in several rows onto a paper tape. The semi-finished product thus obtained is fed to a cutting press, on which round filters are cut down with a stamp. The finished filters are packed in paper in boxes and sent to consumers.

This known method of making wadded filters is extremely expensive, complex and requires a large amount of paper. With this method, up to 45% of waste that is difficult to remove from paper is obtained and the filters are of low quality, since when cutting the edges of the paper, the edges of the filter are bent and compressed, as a result of which the filter is pulled apart before filtering, which leads to a decrease in its filtering properties.

The present invention aims to eliminate the disadvantages of the known method of manufacturing cotton filters and is that dubbed cotton, for example, from carding machines, is moistened on both sides with water, passed between a pair of engraved hot rolls, and dense sterilized filters are cut out of the resulting tape on a press. .

In the schematic drawing of FIG. 1 shows a side view of a device for carrying out the method according to the invention; FIG. 2 - view from above.

The method for producing cotton filters according to the present invention is as follows. The duplicated cotton fleece, for example, from two combing masks /, enters the tray into the coupling funnel, about 70 mm wide, and the exit from the latter in the form of a thick tape is fed to flatting rollers 3, with which the tape is lightly pressed, taking on a more dense shape . After the first flatting rollers, the tape is wetted from both
