Description
The invention is a method of manufacturing an insulating material called a miklex. In contrast to the known such material, the proposed material is characterized by the complete absence of the content of scarce and harmful in the production of lead oxides. Its specific gravity and dielectric constant is less than that of a micalex on a lead base. The remaining properties are not inferior to the latter. The technology of making a new miklex is not complicated and is not fundamentally different from the technology of making micalexes on lead borate.
The subject matter of the invention is the method by which a vitreous composition is used as a binder, imparting high properties to a new complex.
20%.The vitreous binder material consists of a mixture of barium, sodium, and boron oxides, which are in the following proportions: B., Oz - about 56%, about 24%, and BaO- about 20%.
The ratio between the above components can, of course, be changed for 3 different purposes. For example, the NaoO content may be increased to impart greater stability to the vitreous material or the BaO content may be increased to give it higher electrical properties. For specific purposes, a specific content of silica and alumina, etc. can be entered.
MikAlex, based on a vitreous binder, whose composition is given above, is characterized by a low pressing temperature (about 620) and good dielectric properties. Below are the main physicomechanical and electrical properties of the new material made according to the invention:
