Действие устройства сводитс к следующему: весь отраб отанный пар подводитс через трубу А и вентиль 1 в масловодоотделитель и уловитель сальниковой набивки В. Затем, очищенный пар через обратный клапан Р и вентиль Б поступает в приемную трубу Т, снабженную отростками О, открытые концы которых прикреплены к опрокинутому желобу К, идущему по всей длине котла. На наклонных плоскост х желоба имеютс многочисленные отверсти небольшого диаметра, которые предназначаютс дл ровного подогрева воды в различных местах аккумул тора , а вместе с тем и дл безударного смешивани пара с жидкостью . На случай больших поступлений пара, по обе стороны между кра ми желоба К и стенкой котла имеютс щели и кромки Щ, которые не доход т до стенок котла и служат дл свободного прохода поступающего в аккумул тор пара. Далее, пар по трубе У через вентиль Eg направл етс к месту его назначени . Чтобы избежать увлекани паром воды, на конце отборной трубы установлен конусообразный наконечник Н с сечением, соответствующим пропусканию нормального количества пара. Вентиль Б служит на случай выключени аккумул тора дл его ремонта; вентиль Б назначаетс дл работы машин на выхлоп.The operation of the device is as follows: the entire waste steam is supplied through pipe A and valve 1 to the oil separator and packing gland B.
