Пре;у агаемое приспособление, предназначаемое дл  предупреждени  попадани  воды в трубопровод в период вакуума, состоит в том, что в клапанную коробку, установленную на месте включени  в водопроводную магистраль воздухопровода от вакуумного насоса, помещаетс  обычный шаровой поплавковый клапан, закрывающий доступ воды в трубопровод к вакуум-насосу при наполнении клапанной коробки водой.
