The method includes rotating a gyroscope rotor at a working speed and measuring a rotor rotation speed, at which the rotor enters into contact with non-rotatable parts of the bearing under rundown conditions and determining the stiffness from a formula. The rotor rotation speeds, at which the rotor enters into contact with non-rotatable parts of the bearing, are measured in order to detect uneven stiffness of the bearing.EFFECT: improving the accuracy of inspection and simplification of the method.2 cl
