Abstract

FIELD: aeronautical engineering; manufacture of blades for propeller from composite materials, such as glass fibre, carbon fibre, boron fibre used for flying vehicles, hydrofoil ships, etc. SUBSTANCE: method of manufacture of blades 1 of propeller consists in moulding spar 2, blade fin, inserts 3 of blade fin edges in mould by layer-by-layer placing of filler followed by impregnation with binder and polymerization. Layers 6 of glass fabric with adhesive applied to them are placed in mould 4 of core of blade 1 in area of blade edges; inserts 3 of leading edges 7 and trailing edges 8 of blade are moulded and polymerized with paste-like glass roving without opening the moulds; then front inserts 9 and rear inserts 10 of blade are moulded from foam plastic; upper and lower packs 11 of envelope 12 of blade are assembled with blade blank placed between them and then blade is moulded in mould. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of blade and facilitated manufacture due to strengthening edges in mould of blade core. 5 dwg
