Description
The invention relates to methods for extracting iodine solutions using it in odidoxidation form.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of iodine infusion and reduce the consumption of mineral acid.
In a 250 ml conical flask, pour 0.3648 g (brand NHtfeSzOs h), pour 0.2 ml of a 40% solution and 100 ml of acidified (0.85 g / l HCI) KI solution with an iodide ion concentration of 2.50 g The mixture was subjected to stirring at a shaking unit with a frequency of 100-120 rpm for 35 minutes After settling for 5 minutes the precipitate was filtered through a glass filter (POR-100) under vacuum and thoroughly washed with distilled water. the precipitate of iodine is dissolved in a solution of potassium iodide and titrated with a standard solution of thiosulfate on ri. The amount of iodine in the precipitate was ETO, 2159 g, which corresponds to 85% recovery rate.
П р и м е р 2. Нагревание до более высоких температур нецелесообразно , так как приводит к потер м иода за счет испарени .EXAMPLE 2 The method is carried out as in example 1, except that in order to shorten the iodide precipitation time, the stock solution is preheated to 32-34 ° C. At the same time, the iodine deposition time decreases by 10-15 minutes (30%). Heating to higher temperatures is impractical because it leads to loss of iodine due to evaporation.
The results of the experiments are presented in the table, from which it follows that carrying out the process under the proposed conditions makes it possible to increase the degree of iodine extraction from 72-75 to 77-87%, as well as to reduce the acid consumption by 2-3 slots.
