Tallsurf-6.The tests were carried out on round quartz samples with a diameter of 7 mm with an initial roughness of 1 µm. Samples are placed in a solution of a specific composition and etched at a certain temperature. The surface roughness value is measured on a Tallsurf-6 profilometer profilometer.
The specific compositions of the solutions and their properties are given in the table.
The quartz etching solution is prepared as follows.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. To 58 ml of 50% hydrofluoric acid are poured 10 ml of isoheptanol-1, 14.8 g of ammonium fluoride NH4F are added and the volume is brought to 100 ml with distilled water. The resulting solution with a surfactant concentration of 0.9 mol / l is heated to 75 ° C with thorough stirring, and round samples of quartz with a diameter of 7 mm are placed in it, with an initial surface roughness of Ra equal to 0.1 μm, and etched at this temperature for 30 min. After that, the samples are removed from the solution, washed thoroughly with hot water, dried, and the Ra value is measured on a profilogram-profilometer, which in this case was 0.06 µm.
