The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency, simplify and speed up the process of treating amblyopia, as well as simplify the device. In the method of treating amblyopia, stimulation of the visual analyzer is carried out using a rotating frequency-contrast grating with varying spatial frequency. The apparatus for carrying out the method comprises a low-speed drive, on the axis of rotation of which an opaque disk is installed with a frequency-spatial contrast grid made in the form of converging to the center and varying along the width of the contrast bands. 2 sec. and 2 z. p. f-ly, 4 ill.
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to improve the visual acuity of individuals with amblyopia of various degrees.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify and speed up the process of treating amblyopia, as well as to simplify the device.
Figure 1 shows a device for carrying out the method (without a fixed plate), a general view; Figure 2 is the same, simplified diagram, top view (section); Figures 3-4 are rotating and stationary frequency-spatial contrast grating patterns, respectively.
The device comprises a housing 1 in which a low-speed engine 2 is installed, whose rotational speed is chosen in the range of 1-2.5. On the shaft 3 (axis of rotation) of the engine, a disk 4 is installed with a pattern of a frequency-spatial contrast grid 5, applied on its surface, made in the form of converging to the center (axis of rotation) and varying along
е. Рисунок контрастной решетки-может быть выполнен, например, фотоспособом.width, i.e. tapering to the center of contrasting bands, the spatial frequency of which decreases from the center to the periphery. The pattern of a contrasting grid can be made, for example, by a photo-method.
Величина смещени может регулироватьс путем перемещени пластины 7 в направл ющих б дл получени различных комбинаций совмещенного рисунка пространственных решеток .To reduce patient fatigue, to attract more attention and thereby increase the effectiveness of treatment, over the disk 4 is installed in the guides 6 attached to the body 1. A transparent plate 7, for example made of plexiglas or film, with a photograph applied or another way of a spatial grid similar to on the disk 4, the center (axis of symmetry) of which is offset relative to the axis of rotation of the shaft 3. The amount of displacement can be adjusted by moving the plate 7 in the guides b to obtain various combinations combined pattern of spatial grids.
The method is carried out as follows.

The patient is tested for acute vision without correction and with a correction that is measured by distance and near distance. The patient is seated at the table where the ambiopia treatment device is installed. The micromotor is turned on and turned into a slow (1-2.5 rpm) disk with a frequency-spatial contrast grid. Take care to carefully observe the spinner's centrifuge. In the presence of ametritia, the treatment is carried out with glasses. Disk monitoring is continued for 2-3 minutes. At first, the patient sees only wide portions of the bars of the lattice, and as the stimulation and the increase in vision become visible. The portions of the strips are of lesser and lesser thickness. After 2-3 minutes on top of the disk impose a transparent plate with a similar frequency-spatial contrasting grating. The imposition of two similar radical worlds alter the pattern of visible gratings in frequency and contrast, as well as the direction of rotation, which attracts more patient attention and heighten interest in treatment. Periodically offset the transparent plate relative to the center of rotation of the disk and thereby receive various combinations of the combined pattern of frequency-spatial arrays. The observation was continued for 2–3 minutes, after which the sharpness of vision in the distance and near was checked. The effectiveness of the treatment is judged by the difference in visual acuity before and after the treatment session. Every day, 2-3 sessions are performed. When the maximum visual acuity is reached and in the absence of its further enhancement, the treatment is completed. A second course of treatment is carried out after 3-4 weeks to consolidate the effect. In case of a small difference in the sharpness of the eyesight of both eyes, the treatment is carried out with binocular observation of the frequency-spatial arrays. When the difference in acuity of vision is 0.3 or more, each eye is treated separately.
