Изобретение относитс  к технике обжига и спекани  материалов во вращающихс  печах и может быть использовано в цементной, черной и других отрасл х промышленности. Цель изобретени  - повышение герметичности и надежности уплотнени . Дл  этого между обечайками 1, 3, закрепленными соответственно на корпусе 2 печи и неподвижной камере 4 (головке шахты охладител ), размещены контактирующие друг с другом уплотнительные кольца из секторов 5, 6. На обечайке закреплены кольца 7, 8 с вертикальными направл ющими 11, 12, которые  вл ютс  направл ющими плоскост ми дл  цилиндров 9 механизма прижати  секторов. Цилиндры 9 выполнены полыми с установленными в них пружинами 10 сжати  и прикреплены к секторам.
