Abstract

FIELD: fat and butter industry. SUBSTANCE: current of hydrogenated fat is refined from depleted catalyst by magnetic separation and fed to reservoirs of ready product. Catalyst is deposited on the ferromagnetic bodies of separator. In the absence of magnetic field catalyst is removed from separator plates by the current of refined fat and obtained suspension is divided for currents at the ratio (1:10)-(1:30). Major current with reusable catalyst is recovered to hydrogenation, and catalyst from minor current is separated by magnetic separation for ferromagnetic bodies from which catalyst is removed by superheated steam at 150-250 C under pressure 0.2-0.6 MPa and fed to regeneration. Refined fat is mixed with fat current and reusable catalyst. EFFECT: improved method of hydrogenization. 1 tbl
