It was filed on April 7, 1961, No. 725681/25 to the Committee on Inventions and Discoveries under the Council of Ministers of the USSR
с присоединением за вки № 732270 Опубликовано в «Бюллетене изобретений № 19 за 1962 г.with the accession of application number 732270 Published in the "Bulletin of inventions number 19 for 1962
Known methods of continuous-contact electrical discharge machining have low machining accuracy and cannot provide circular oscillations of the electrode tool.
The proposed method is characterized in that the frequency and amplitude of the circular oscillations of the electrode-tool are varied accordingly by changing the frequency of the supply voltage and the working length of the rod, at the end of which the electrode-tool is fixed. This allows a significant increase in processing accuracy.
To create circular oscillations of an electrode tool, four electromagnets are used, powered by a mains voltage with a phase shift of 90 °, the core of which is a common core rigidly connected to the electrode tool through a rod.
На чертеже дана кинематическа схема устройства, реализующего предлагаемый способ непрерывно-контактной электроэрозионной обработки .The drawing shows a kinematic diagram of a device that implements the proposed method of continuous-contact electroerosive processing.
The electrode tool of a given shape is fixed with a screw 1 in the hole of the vertical rod 2, which is rigidly connected to the core 3, made of transformer steel.
Така схема включени обмоток электромагнитов обеспечивает и равномерное пере№ 150743- 2 -The core simultaneously performs the functions of the core of four electromagnets 4, 5, 6, and 7, which are arranged in pairs in two mutually perpendicular planes. Valves are included in the circuit of each winding of the electromagnet, and to effect a phase shift of the current in the windings of electromagnets 4, 6 with respect to the windings of electromagnets 5, 7, pairwise circuits of electromagnets are separated by a capacitor. Such a circuit for turning on the windings of electromagnets ensures a uniform re-number 150743-2 -
Circulation of the force of attraction of the core in a circle with the frequency of the supply voltage. The amplitude of the circular oscillations is varied by means of an adjusting sleeve 8 having a tapered bore and an external thread under the fixedly mounted guide sleeve 9. The position of the sleeve 8 relative to the annular protrusion 10 on the rod 2 and the fixed sleeve 9 determines the amplitude of oscillation of the tool electrode. During EDM, one pole of the current source is connected to the workpiece and the other pole to the tool electrode.
8.The rod 2 is supported by two nuts 11 and washers 12 on a rigid diaphragm 13, which is clamped to the fixed case 14 by an anvil ring 15. For convenience of displaying the magnitude of the oscillation amplitude on the sleeve 8, the tongue 16 is placed, the divisions of which correspond to a certain angle of rotation of the sleeve 8.
The proposed method can find wide application in the electrical discharge machining of metals.
