Abstract
The invention relates to soldering, in particular, to a composition for protecting a melt of low-temperature solder against oxidation during tinning and brazing by immersion of electrical products. The purpose of the invention is to expand the range of activity of the composition and increase its protective properties. The composition contains the following components, wt%: sodium fluoride 0.1–2, tin dichloride 8–12, borax 2–4, zinc chloride, the rest. The melting point of the flux is 280 ° C. The activity interval is in the range of 270-550 ° C. The protective properties of the flux are characterized by 3-5% of ash. The composition is prepared by melting a mixture of chlorides, to which borax and sodium fluoride are added at 600 ° C. The composition can be used to protect the tin-based solder melt from oxidation and during tinning and brazing by dipping copper and aluminum. 1 tab.

Наличие буры повышает верхни11 предел активности и надежно защищает расплав и основной металл от окислени за счет выделени борного ангидрида, который, соедин сь с окислами, образует легкоплавкий шлак, всплывающий на поверхность .The aggressive injection of residual composition to the corrosion resistance of metal coatings and compounds is significantly reduced if it contains small amounts of borax. The presence of borax increases the upper limit of activity and reliably protects the melt and the base metal from oxidation due to the release of boric anhydride, which, combined with the oxides, forms a low-melting slag that floats to the surface.

The composition is prepared as follows.
The calcined chlorides are mixed and melted at 600 ° C. Borax and fluoride nat pmi are added to the mixture, mixed thoroughly and cooled after a short time. The resulting salt composition is then ground to the desired granulation.
