Description

A known method for the quantitative determination of beryllium photometry of solutions of colored beryllium complexes with the elimination of the interfering effect of ions due to the addition of Trilon B. However, it has sufficient sensitivity, the method is characterized by low selectivity, which complicates the analysis.

The proposed method is characterized in that chlorophosphonazo-P (4-chlorobenzene-2-phosphonic acid 1-azo-1 -2-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid) is used as a photometric reagent. This makes it possible to increase the selectivity of the method and simplify the analysis.

In the process, a weight of ore of 0.2-1 g (depending on the content of beryllium) is fused with potassium bifluoride to obtain a transparent melt. The melt is treated with 10-15 ml of concentrated H2SO4, evaporated to dryness and the dry residue is fused in a muffle furnace. Then, the melt is dissolved in hot 10% HC1-Solution is transferred to a volumetric flask of 100 or 50 vat and brought to the mark of 10% HC1. Two aliquots of the initial solution, containing - 10-507 BeO, are placed in volumetric flasks for 50 pins, add 5 liters of 0.05 M solution of Trilon B, 1 g of 25% solution of triethanolamine and mix. Then add 1-2 drops of a 0.1% alcoholic solution of thymolphthalein, neutralize the solution to blue color with 20% NaOH and discolor the solution by adding a few drops of HC1 (1: 1). 1 ml of 10% is added to one of the aliquots. acetylacetone solution (this part serves as a zero solution when measuring), then 2 ml of a 0.1% aqueous solution of chlorophosphonazo-P are added to both parts, the solution is brought to the mark with borate buffer with pH-P, 4 and thoroughly mixed. The optical density is measured after 30 min on an SF-4 spectrophotometer in cuvettes with a layer thickness of cm at a wavelength of /. 540 mm. First, a cell with a solution without acetylacetone is placed in the path of the beam and the arrow of the galvanometer is brought to zero by the sensitivity adjuster. A cuvette with a solution containing acetylacetone is then placed and the absorbance is measured.

F.No. 148582-2. The calibration curve is constructed in a similar manner. The ions such as Ca, Mg, do not interfere with the determination of beryllium. Zn, Cu, AG, Fe-, Ti,, NOs, SG; F.

Subject invention

The method of quantitative determination of beryllium by photometry of solutions of colored beryllium complexes with elimination of the stirrer, its action of ions due to the addition of Trilon B, which is distinguished by the fact that, in order to facilitate the analysis, chlorophosphonazo-P (4-chlorobenzene -2-phosphonic acid (1-azo-1) -2-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid).
