Abstract

FIELD: heterocyclic compounds. SUBSTANCE: product: ammonium salt of 2-(4-pyridyl)-6-nitro-7-oxo-4,7-dihydro-1, 2,4-triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazine. Synthesis is carried out by reaction of 3- (4-pyridyl)-5-diazo-1,2,4-triazole prepared by diazotization of 3-(4-pyridyl)- -5-amino-1,2,4-triazole with nitroacetic acid ethyl ester in aqueous-spirituous solution of ammonium hydrocarbonate. Yield is 60%, m.p. is above 300 C, gross-formula is CHNO. New compound inhibits reproduction of Rift Valley fever virus in infected cultures of cells by 2 lg PFU/0.1 ml and protects white mice (by 80% ) against development of this infection (100% death of animal in control). Synthesized compound display antiviral activity. EFFECT: synthesis of new compound of class indicated above showing new kind of activity. 2 tbl
