Копатель корнеклубнеплодов содержит раму 1, несуш.ую щеточный барабан 2, над которым размеш,ена цилиндрическа  вращающа с  щетка 3, и несущую изогнутую гребенку 6, охватывающую барабан 2 сзади. Зубь  гребенки 6 закреплены на коленчатых валах 4 и 5, вращающихс  навстречу барабану 2, при этом смежные колена валов 4 и 5, несущие смежные зубь  гребенки 6, расположены противоположно друг другу. Рабоча  поверхность зубьев гребенки 6, обращенна  к барабану 2, снабжена выступами и покрыта эластичным материалом. На нижних концах зубьев закреплены лапы-рыхлители 7.
