Description

The method of CLEANING cesium compounds from impurities of other alkaline elements is known.

Предлагаемый способ позвол ет упростить и ускорить процесс очистки соединений цези  от щелочных элементов посредством перевода в комплексные соединени  дийодбромида, цези , где бромид цези , полученный из соли цези  через его тетраоксалат, дважды перевод т при 80° в водно-спиртовом растворе в дийодбромид цези  (CsBrl2) с промежуточным прокаливанием при 400 бромида цези .The proposed method allows to simplify and speed up the process of purification of cesium compounds from alkaline elements by converting diiodobromide into complex compounds, cesium, where cesium bromide obtained from cesium salt through its tetraoxalate is converted twice at 80 ° in a water-alcohol solution into cesium diodobromide ( CsBrl2) with intermediate calcination at 400 cesium bromide.

10-20.The proposed method is simpler and more efficient; it gives a high purification ratio, especially when separating cesium and rubidium, reaching 10-20.

To a water-alcohol solution of cesium bromide heated to 80 °, containing water, alcohol, and cesium bromide in a 2: 2: 1 ratio (by weight), 1.2 parts by weight of pulverized elemental iodine are added. The mixture is transferred at the same temperature until the iodine is dissolved. The solution is cooled with ice with vigorous stirring to + 5 °.

Crystals of cesium diiodbromide (CsBrl2) precipitated upon cooling are sucked off and calcined, the calcination being carried out in two stages (to avoid alloying) at 150 and 400 °. The cesium bromide obtained after calcination is subjected to repeated treatment, as described above. Cesium bromide obtained after the second precipitation contains 0.02% rubidium and no more than 0.005% potassium and other alkaline elements (when the content of cesium bromide is 5% Rb and 1.5% other alkaline elements).

Subject invention

Способ очистки соединений цези  от примеси других щелочных элементов, отличающийс  тем, что бромид цези , полученный из любой соли цези  через его тетраоксалат, дважды перевод т при 80° в водно-спиртовом растворе в дийодбромид цези  (СзВгЬ) с промежуточным прокаливанием при 400° бромида цези .The method of purification of cesium compounds from impurities of other alkaline elements, characterized in that cesium bromide obtained from any cesium salt through its tetraoxalate is converted twice at 80 ° in a water-alcohol solution into cesium diiodide (CsBrb) with intermediate calcination at 400 ° bromide cesium
