При осуществлении способа в раствор иодида рубиди  в воде, нагретый до 60-70°, засыпаетс  мелкорастертый кристаллический иод с весовым соотнощением Rb I : Н2О : I2 5 : 5 : I дл  выделени  первой фракции загр зненного цезием триодида рубиди . Смесь перемешиваетс  до полного растворени  иода. Кристаллизаци  трииодида из полученного раствора происходит при интенсивном перемешивании и охлаждении льдом до -f 5°. Выпавшие кристаллы отфильтровываютс . Затем производ т осаждение второй фракции трииодида рубиди  при тех же температурных услови х и с добавлением иода в том же соотношении. Операци  осаждени  из маточника повтор етс  три раза (с получением, в обшей сложности, 4-х фракций загр зненного трииодида рубиди ).
