Description
The invention relates to the beneficiation of minerals and can be eliminated for the flotation of non-ferrous metal ores.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of flotation and reduce the consumption of reagents due to uniform electrochemical treatment of the entire pulp.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a flotation machine, a general sectional view; in fig. 2 - the same, side view; in fig. 3 - electrode construction.
9.The flotation unit consists of hull 1 (Fig. 1), which is divided into chambers 3 of rectangular section by inter-chamber partitions 2. In each chamber 3, in the center, an impeller unit is mounted, including shaft 4 with an impeller 5. Shaft 4 is driven by an electric motor 6 through a V-belt transmission 7. A loading device 8 is mounted at the entrance of the first chamber 3, and a discharge device is output at the exit of the last camera 3 9.
11.In intercameral partitions 2 rectangular windows 10 are made for the passage of pulp from the chamber to the chamber. The electrodes 11 are made in the form of gratings made of copper or zinc and are installed directly in the flotation machine, in which the flotation enrichment of polymetallic ores occurs. The grid electrodes 11 are rigidly fixed on opposite sides of each passage window 10 in such a way that they completely overlap the cross section of the window 10 (Fig. 2). The height and width of the electrodes 11 is 1.1 -1.2 width and height of the passage window 10, which provides the most complete electrochemical processing of the entire volume of the pulp when it passes from the chamber 3 through the lattice electrodes 11.
13.Each electrode is 11. It is powered by an electric current (direct or alternating) supplied through the current paths 12 from the transformer 13.
The device works as follows.
The pulp enters the flotation machine through the charging device 8 and flows by gravity from the chamber to the chamber 3 through the passageways 10. When an electric eye is applied to the electrodes 11, metal ions interacting with the surface of the mineral grains and changing in a predetermined direction are produced in the pulp as a result of the electrochemical process. their floatability. The pulp treated with electric current and saturated with the corresponding ions is subjected to flotation separation in the chambers 3 of the flotation machine and then
через разгрузочное устройство 9 выходит на последующие стадии обогащени .through the discharge device 9 enters the subsequent stages of enrichment.
The installation of electrodes 11 made of non-ferrous metals on opposite sides of the windows 10 for the passage of the pulp, and making them have an area larger than the area of the windows, allows uniform electrochemical treatment of the entire pulp volume, which increases the flotation efficiency and reduces the consumption of flotation reagents.
