Abstract
FIELD: atomic engineering. SUBSTANCE: the stopper of the nuclear reactor channel has the upper part, engageable with the nuclear reactor channel through a gasket attached to it, and the lower part, positioned in the nuclear reactor channel, connected by a rod for relative axial movement. Attached to the rod is a cross- piece, whose opposite ends by means of axles are connected to the longer arms of the levers, whose shorter arms are engageable with a stop secured on the nuclear reactor channel, and the levers axles of rotation are engageable with the gasket. With the aim of uniform distribution of force acting of the gasket, the cross-piece is installed on half- axles secured to the rod. Cranks engageable with the gasket are installed on the levers axles of rotation so as to decrease the travel of the lower part required for disengagement of the levers from the stop. EFFECT:: enhanced reliability and safety of operation due to the increase of force acting on the gasket without any increase of the stopper mass.
