Description
Известны фотомеханические способы изготовлени рельефных изображений нанесением на металлическую пластину светочувствительного сло , экспонировани на слой репродуцируемого изображени , окрашивани и про влени копии, обжига и последующего травлени пластины .Photomechanical methods for making relief images are known by applying a photosensitive layer to a metal plate, exposing a reproduced image to a layer, painting and reproducing a copy, burning and then etching the plate.
The described method differs from the known ones in that chemical blackening of the background is used to more clearly distinguish the elements of the image.
The method consists in the following. A metal, e.g. aluminum, plate for applying an image is degreased, wiped with a mushy suspension of Vienna lime in water, followed by washing in running water. A photosensitive layer is applied to the defatted plate, steel in a known manner, for example in a centrifuge. Chrome colloid is used as the latter. An emulsion of the following composition can be used:
желатина- 50 гgelatin - 50 g
18 ammonium bichromate- 18
Reproduced image is exposed on sensing plate using known methods. The exposed plate is stained in a 2% methylviolet solution and manifested in a known manner. The duct is then dried and baked at a temperature of 300 °. The reverse side of the plate is covered with acid-resistant varnish, after which the plate is etched. The following etching bath can be used: blue vitriol
100-200 sodium chloride- 100-200
вода-1 л.water-1 l.
№ 121453- 2 -No. 121453-2 -
Duration of etching to a depth of 0.2-0.3 mm-3 min. Every 30 seconds the plate is removed from the etching bath and washed in running water, removing the foam from the surface of the plate with a hair brush.
При этом поверхность пластины, освобожденна от светочувствительного сло , чернению не подвергаетс .After etching, the plate is treated in a blackening bath, at the same time removing the emulsion from the image. In this case, the surface of the plate, released from the photosensitive layer, is not exposed to blackening.
The following composition can be used as a blackening bath: caustic soda-200 g and water-1 l.
The processing of the plate in said bath lasts 1-2 min.
