The printing ink is prepared by dissolving the dye and caprolactam in warm (50 ° C) water, after which the thickener and defoamer are added with stirring. The paint on the canvas lies flat and provides a clear outline of the pattern.
The paint on the canvas lies flat and provides a clear outline of the pattern.
5.The printed samples are steamed for 20 minutes at 102-103 s, washed and dried. Samples are obtained, painted in a light orange color, the background of the picture is white. Paint strength characteristics: to 5/5/5; to the soap solution 5/5/5; to sweat 5/5/5; to dry friction 5; to wet friction 5.
Depending on the amount of caprolactam in printing ink, the following indicators of dye fixation on the fiber were obtained: 70.2% at a concentration of caprolactam 60 g / kg; 76.7% at a concentration of 65 g / kg, 82.1% at a concentration of 75 g / kg; 82.0% at a concentration of 80 g / kg.
The table shows the characteristic of TAC-dye stains with cationic dyes.
Thus, a caprolactam concentration of 75 g per 1 kg of printing ink containing 5 g / kg of dye is optimal.
The use of the proposed printing method provides a comparison. The following advantages are known: the simplification of the process of printing articles from TAC-fiber by cationic dyes; simplifying the process of preparing printing ink by reducing the number of components in its composition and introducing caprolactam, which is easily soluble in water, even at room temperature and facilitates the dissolution of the dye; exclusion from the composition of printing ink substances that are toxic to human health (ie, the improvement of working conditions) and destroy the kersey of the printing machine; lowering the fixation temperature of cationic dyes on the TAC-material from 120 to 102-103 C allows conventional steam mounts to be fixed on the dye fiber, in which printed products are steamed at a water vapor saturation temperature, and exclude the obligatory use of a high-temperature or conventional maturing powder, additionally equipped with a special device for raising the temperature, obtaining a white background in the drawings on the TAC-material without using the rinse with bleaching agents. In addition, the proposed method allows to increase the degree of fixation of cationic dyes on the TAC-material while maintaining the strength of the color.
