The invention relates to a cryogenic technique and can be used in medicine and biology for microscopic studies of biological objects at low temperatures. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of information about the object being inspected by supercooling control. The drawing schematically shows a device for cryomicroscopic studies. The device contains a sealed working chamber 1 having a cover 2 with a hole 3 for the microscope objective and a bottom A with a hole 5 For the light source, a capillary with water, one end of which through the hole in the slide glass 8 contacts with the bioobject 9, and the other is a chamber 10 having an outlet pipe with a valve 12 and a pipe 13 connected to a common pipeline 14 for supplying and discharging a refrigerant. A heat exchanger 15 is installed on the common pipe 14. The device operates in two modes: under the condition of overcooling in order to register the true phase Transition; under conditions of varying supercooling in order to study its effect on the safety of biological objects. Under the conditions of exclusion of supercooling, the device operates as follows. When the valve 12 is open, refrigerant vapor simultaneously flows through the common pipe 14 into the hermetic working chamber 1 and through the pipeline 13 into the chamber 10. Water filling the capillary 6 quickly freezes as it contacts the refrigerant whose temperature is lower. When the biological object 9 reaches its freezing temperature in the hermetic working chamber 1 and, consequently, which is always below 0 ° C, a water-ice phase transition takes place in it due to the presence of ice in the capillary. Under conditions of varying supercooling, the device operates as follows. The valve12 is closed. At the same time, refrigerant vapors do not enter chamber 10 and water does not freeze in the capillary, because its cooling in a sealed working chamber 1 is not sufficient for the crystallization of water, since it comes from g. It is known that water in thin capillaries is prone to significant supercooling. Only biological object 9 cools. When the pressurized working chamber 1 and the test object 9 reach the required supercooling, the open 12 provides refrigerant with a temperature below -40 ° G to the chamber 10. At the same time, the water in the capillary 6 freezes, causing the initiation of ice formation in the biological object 9 under this supercooling.
