SP I The invention relates to pump engineering, in particular, to the design of pumping installations for pumping liquids from buried reservoirs, for example, from tanks of oil tankers. The aim of the invention is to ensure the operation of a liquid pump with suction pressure close to atmospheric pressure. The drawing shows a diagram of the pump installation. The pumping installation contains a liquid pump 1 and a vacuum device 2, a container 3, divided by interchange 4, having an opening 5, into the lower main 6 and upper auxiliary 7 compartments, suction 8 and discharge 9 pipelines, the latter of which is connected by pump 1 s the lower part of the main 6 compartment, the auxiliary compartment 7 is connected to the atmosphere by means of the valve 10, the auxiliary compartment 7 is connected to the vacuum device 2 and the suction pipe 8, and the upper part of the main compartment 6 is connected to the atmosphere by the pipe 11. Const The installation works as follows. When the vacuum device 2 is turned on, the gas-air mixture is pumped out from the upper part of the auxiliary compartment 7 and the suction pipe 8. At the same time, the valve 10 and the opening 5 in the partition 4 are closed. As soon as the liquid fills the upper auxiliary compartment 7, the valve 10 opens, and the pressure of the gas 50 of the air mixture in the upper auxiliary 7 and the lower main 6 compartments of the tank 3 is equalized and becomes equal to atmospheric. The liquid column acts on the spring, opens the opening 5, and the liquid flows into the lower main compartment 6, from where it is pumped out by the liquid pump 1 through the discharge pipe 9. After draining the liquid from the auxiliary compartment 7 of the tank 3, the valve 10 is closed by the weight of the valve and the opening 5 in the bulkhead 4 under the action of the spring. The liquid re-enters the upper auxiliary compartment 7. At the same time, the pump 1 continues to pump out the liquid from the lower main compartment 6. The decrease in the volume of fluid in the main compartment 6 is compensated by the atmospheric air entering through the pipe 11. Thus, during the entire period of pumping the fluid, the fluid pump is provided with inlet pressure close to atmospheric, which eliminates the possibility of pump disruption due to cavitation. The use of the proposed pumping unit will provide unloading of petroleum products from oil tankers with the highest possible performance equal to the flow of the liquid pump. The amount of cargo residues in the oil tank is reduced. The pumping capacity will be increased, and the time for the laying of vessels under cargo operations will be shortened.
