Description
By fusing ingots of refractory metals in electric furnaces with a consumable electrode, solid ingots are obtained.
The manufacture of pipes, sleeves, hollow electrodes and other products from these ingots is associated with the formation of a large amount of waste and significant costs.
а сь вверх вдоль оси водоохлаждаемой изложницы, одновременно с наплавлением слитка формирует внутри него полость заданного сечени .The described method of continuous fusion of ingots of refractory metals in electric furnaces with a consumable electrode allows to produce hollow ingots during the process of alloying, which drastically reduces the cost of machining the workpieces and reduces the amount of waste. Obtaining hollow ingots is achieved by using a water-cooled piercing device, which, mixed up along the axis of the water-cooled mold, simultaneously with the fusion of the ingot, forms inside it a cavity of a given section.
После наплавлени слитка прощивное устройство отклю№ 116217.- 2 -The piercing device is a steel pipe with a water-cooled copper tip welded to its upper part. Water is fed into the tip through an inner tube of small diameter located inside the steel pipe, and out through the annular gap between the walls of these tubes. The piercer is installed in a water-cooled mold along its vertical axis so that its tip is under the consumable electrode and is always covered with a layer of melted metal, protecting it from direct exposure to an electric arc. With the help of the drive mechanism and the automation system, the forgive device, as the metal level increases, continuously and simultaneously with it moves the tips, forming a hole (cavity) inside the ingot. After the ingot has been welded, the forgive device ot 116217.- 2 -

Диаметр полости внутри слитка определ етс диаметром водоохлаждаемого наконечника прошивного устройства, который соответственно подбираетс .The diameter of the cavity inside the ingot is determined by the diameter of the water-cooled tip of the piercing device, which is adjusted accordingly.
Subject invention
Способ непрерывного наплавлени слитков тугоплавких металлов в электрических печах с расходуемым электродом, отличающийс тем, что, с целью получени полых слитков, внутри водоохлаждаемой изложницы помещают вертикальную трубу с приваренным к ее верхнему концу водоохлаждаемым наконечником, котора , перемеща сь вверх вдоль оси изложницы одновременно с наплавлением слитка, формирует внутри него полость заданного сечени .The method of continuous fusion of refractory metal ingots in electric furnaces with a consumable electrode, characterized in that, in order to obtain hollow ingots, a vertical pipe with a water-cooled tip welded to its upper end is placed inside the water-cooled mold, moving upward along the mold axis simultaneously with the welding ingot, forms inside it a cavity of a given section.
