The invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular to a method for manufacturing thin-walled, long shells of small diameter.
1 .The known method is made of shells, which includes the molding of the shell, the assembly of the welding joint on the support by pressing the edges of the joint to a removable copper lining introduced into the shell, and arc welding of the joint 1.
According to a known method, when assembling a butt joint for welding, a removable lining is placed on a support and jointly inserted inside the shell. However, when welding thin-walled, lengthy small-diameter shells, it is impossible to obtain a quality joint, since the lack of rigidity of the support caused by its large length and small section leads to deflection of the support and to a change in the length of the arcs along the length of the joint and, as a result, to a poor-quality joint.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of welding by eliminating the deflection of the support along its length.
The goal is achieved in that according to this method of manufacturing shells, including molding the sheath, assembling the butt for welding on a support by pressing the butt edges to a removable copper lining inserted into the sheath and arc welding the butt, the sheath is formed with an elongated section, the height of which corresponds to the thickness of the copper lining, and together with the copper lining set the plane on a rigid support, and after welding, the shell is straightened.
Такое техническое рещение позвол ет изготавливать тонкостенные длинномерные обечайки малого даметра разных типоразмеров на жесткой опоре и тем самым повысить качество сварного соединени .Such a technical solution makes it possible to manufacture thin-walled lengthy shells of small diameter of different sizes on a rigid support and thereby improve the quality of the welded joint.
The drawing shows the shell of small diameter, assembled in accordance with the proposed method.
4.In the drawing, the following notation is accepted: shell 1, removable lining 2, rigid support 3, clamp 4.
The application of the proposed method allows welding on the same lining of long shells about 1.5 m of small (80-150 mm) and large (more than 200 mm) diameter without changing over the device, ensuring high quality of the longitudinal seam of the shell, since allows you to put significant effort to tighten without bending the schv of the shell in the vertical plane. Such pressing forces prevent the edges of the joining edges from crawling together. Therefore, the thickness of the seam does not increase and the joint will better perceive the cyclic load characteristic of the compensators.
